Honestly, this isn't surprising. HYPE has been exhibiting extreme price action lately that defies typical technical analysis. Professional traders often rely on overbought/oversold signals and historical patterns, but HYPE's current volatility is driven by fundamentally new factors - like the massive accumulation by whales who likely have access to private information or strategic partnerships we don't know about. The shorting logic seems sound on paper, but in this market, narrative and whale behavior often overpower fundamentals. I've been saying this in the CoinMETA community for weeks: don't fight the tape when whales are accumulating. It's even possible some shorts are getting liquidated which creates a feedback loop for the price to go higher. Remember, professional traders also lose millions in bull runs because they underestimate retail FOMO and whale manipulation. HYPE is a perfect storm of these trends. DYOR and never overleverage, folks. These are just my observations from the 528btc.com forums, not financial advice.
