Bybit disclosed that it has completed an update to its Dual Asset product, adding a settlement result simulator and adjusting the product interface and access arrangements. This update primarily focuses on pre-order display, operational procedures, and the scope of available yield products.

Dual Asset is a short-term structured product that allows users to preset target prices for buying or selling crypto assets. Upon maturity, users receive an annualized return regardless of whether the target price is triggered, but the product does not guarantee the principal.

Add a settlement result simulator

The core feature of this update is the settlement result simulator. Before placing an order, users can select a token, enter the investment amount, view the available terms, and preview the product's results under two settlement scenarios.

Bybit states that the simulator will display the two possible settlement results side-by-side, helping users more intuitively understand asset changes after the product matures. The platform has also added a "Match My Assets" filtering function, which can suggest relevant cryptocurrencies based on the user's existing holdings.

The order placement process has been simplified.

Users can switch to "Beginner Mode" in "Choose Product Plan" to access the tool. The platform states that this design is primarily intended to lower the barrier to entry and shorten the time required to select products.

In addition to the simulator, Bybit has also redesigned the overall interface of Dual Asset. The new page reduces the steps required to compare product terms and submit an order, focusing on allowing users to complete product filtering and order placement more quickly.

Selected VIP products are available every Friday.

Bybit has also expanded the accessibility of some high-yield products. According to the company's disclosure, some Dual Asset products, which were previously only available to VIP users, will be open to all users every Friday, and users can participate without VIP status.

The platform states that these products offer higher APR levels, but the original product structure remains unchanged. If the target price is triggered, the product will settle at the preset price, and the user will simultaneously receive the corresponding annualized return; if the target price is not triggered, the user can withdraw their principal and receive the accumulated returns during the holding period.

Additional information:In its statement, Bybit also noted that Dual Asset remains a non-principal-protected product, and the relevant terms, eligibility requirements, and applicable restrictions remain in effect.
