Pi Network: PI Coin Price Increases by 4.11%
2026-07-30 15:53:29
According to CoinMeta, Pi Network recently launched Protocol 26, requiring all mainnet node operators to upgrade their software by August 11th. This update is a mandatory requirement for node operators and also represents the final step of Protocol 27, which is the last planned upgrade in Pi Network's current roadmap. Within the past 24 hours, the price of PI Coin has increased by 4.11% to reach $0.0825, performing better than the overall crypto market, despite a slight decline in Bitcoin. This price increase seems to be driven by organic buying and accumulation rather than any specific catalyst. Trading activity has also increased, indicating that market participation is on the rise. The core team of Pi stated that all mainnet node operators must install the Protocol 26 update by August 11th; nodes that do not upgrade by the deadline will have their connections to the Pi mainnet severed. This update only affects mainnet node operators; ordinary Pi mobile users do not need to take any action.
