Canadian digital asset ownership reaches 25%, cryptocurrencies enter the mainstream

According to CoinMeta, the latest survey shows that the ownership rate of digital assets or crypto investment funds in Canada has reached 25%, meaning that one in every four Canadians holds crypto assets. According to a survey by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), the adoption of crypto assets has significantly increased over the past two years. Eric Richmond, the regional director for Canada, stated that this report confirms that digital assets have entered the mainstream of finance. The survey also found that nearly 39% of Canadian investors own some form of crypto product, and 59% of Canadians are able to correctly identify crypto assets. The survey indicates that the use of cryptocurrencies has gone beyond speculation, with 74% of crypto holders stating that they have actually used digital assets.
