According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Reuters, oil prices rose on Friday. Brent crude futures increased by $1.31, or 1.47%, to $90.34 per barrel. WTI (West Texas Intermediate) crude oil rose by $1.95, or 2.33%, to $85.54 per barrel. In July, Brent crude is expected to rise by nearly 24%, and WTI by about 23%. Iranian media reported that some oil tankers were forced to turn around in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in still low traffic in that waterway, which supported oil prices.
