According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Tether released its reserve verification report for the second quarter of 2026. As of June 30, the company's total assets amounted to approximately $187.751 billion, with total liabilities at around $183.642 billion, resulting in assets exceeding liabilities by about $4.110 billion. The quarterly net operating profit was around $1.5 billion, mainly derived from U.S. Treasury bonds and repurchase agreements. At the end of the quarter, USDT had a issuance volume of approximately $184.6 billion. During the same period, Tether reduced its mortgage exposure by about $2.38 billion and increased its holdings of physical gold by 14 tons, bringing its gold reserves to over 146 tons.
