According to CoinMeta, on Thursday, the futures prices for lean hogs in the United States generally fell by $2.05 to $3, with the number of open contracts decreasing by 7,202. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) reported that on Thursday afternoon, the national base hog price was $101.05, down 74 cents from the previous day. The CME Lean Hog Index rose by 10 cents in July.
