According to CoinMeta, the Iranian government claims to have closed the Strait of Hormuz, but the U.S. Central Command denies this, stating that the strait remains open to commercial shipping and that Iran does not control it. The U.S. Central Command pointed out that thousands of vessels have passed through this international waterway over the past four months. The Iranian “Persian Gulf Straits Administration” has stated that due to the continuous aggressive actions of the U.S. military in the relevant waters, the Strait of Hormuz is currently unable to be used for normal navigation.
