According to CoinMeta, U.S. President Donald Trump stated to the media during a cabinet meeting on July 31 local time that the United States had not agreed to allow Ukraine to produce Patriot air defense systems and interceptors. He said that the U.S. side must be "very cautious" when permitting other countries to manufacture such weapons. On July 28 local time, Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House. After the meeting, Zelenskyy revealed in an interview that Trump had agreed to grant Ukraine a production license for Patriot interceptors.
