According to CoinMeta, Coinbase reported revenue of $1.22 billion in its second-quarter financial report, which was lower than Wall Street's expectation of $1.29 billion, leading to a decline of over 12% in its stock price on Friday. The company also recorded a quarterly net loss of approximately $359 million, and weak trading revenue sparked concerns about its short-term growth among the market. Coinbase's stock price faced heavy pressure at the opening, with an opening price of $153.10, and hit a low of $139.11 during the session. The price of Bitcoin fell by 1.34%, to around $63,655, and the overall market value of cryptocurrencies decreased by 1.11%, to $2.18 trillion. Nevertheless, Coinbase stated that its global market share in cryptocurrency trading reached a record 10.3%.
