US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC): Speculators Reduce Net Short Positions in Treasury Futures

According to CoinMeta, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) of the United States has recently issued the following statements: As of the week ending July 28th, speculators reduced their net short positions in 2-year U.S. Treasury futures by 30,023 lots to 1,124,574 lots; they reduced their net short positions in 5-year U.S. Treasury futures by 126,929 lots to 1,146,400 lots; they reduced their net short positions in 10-year U.S. Treasury futures by 3,587 lots to 876,119 lots; and they reduced their net short positions in ultra-long-term U.S. Treasury futures by 642 lots to 320,708 lots. At the same time, natural gas speculators increased their net short positions in the four major markets by 5,281 lots to 60,997 lots.
