The U.S. side stated that it was not involved in the detour of the first Qatarian liquefied natural gas carrier in over three weeks after resuming passage through the Strait of Hormuz. Early on Thursday this week, the ship activated its automatic identification system (AIS) transponder to cross the Strait of Hormuz, with Pakistan indicated as its destination.
