According to CoinMeta, on Friday, the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined due to a nearly 10% slump in Apple's stock price and a sharp rise in Treasury yields. By the morning of July 31, the S&P 500 had fallen by about 0.4%, the Dow Jones by about 151 points, and the Nasdaq Composite Index also slipped by about 0.3%. Apple's decline had a significant impact on the Dow Jones index; the combined drop of Apple and Boeing dragged down the Dow Jones by about 221 points. Meanwhile, driven by strong growth in cloud computing and artificial intelligence, Amazon's stock price rose by nearly 14%.
