According to CoinMeta, Chainalysis reports that Coldcard attackers stole approximately $30 million within 10 minutes by targeting large-value wallets preferentially. This theft of over $38 million involved 500 wallets, exposing the persistent risks associated with mnemonic phrases created on vulnerable firmware. The attackers prioritized wallets with the largest balances, specifically those identified as Coldcard.
