The facilities hit were used for the production, storage, and transportation of various missile weapons, drones, radar stations, and electronic warfare equipment. In the early hours of August 1st local time, dense and powerful explosions were heard in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv. Kyiv Mayor Klitschko stated that the Russian military was launching ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv, resulting in casualties.
