Bitcoin mining difficulty drops by 14%, reaching the second lowest level in history

According to CoinMeta, the difficulty of Bitcoin mining has decreased by 14% from this year's high, and is currently at 126.23 trillion, which is about 1.1% lower than the level of the same period last year. This is the second time in network history that the mining difficulty has been below last year's level, mainly due to a weak mining economy and the shift towards artificial intelligence, which has affected the growth of computing power. Mining difficulty is adjusted every 2016 blocks, and the current decrease indicates that the competitive computing power has reduced during the previous adjustment cycle. According to data from Luxor, the hash price dropped to 27.66 dollars per Petahash per day at the end of June, near the low point in February, before slightly rebounding to 31.7 dollars.
