Japan's first listed company Eole officially holds the HYPE tokens of Hyperliquid

According to CoinMeta, Eole Inc, a company listed on the Growth Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in Japan, officially disclosed on July 28, 2026, that it had purchased HYPE tokens, becoming the first Japanese listed company to hold such tokens. Eole initially bought 1,078.25 HYPE tokens at an average price of ¥9,352.77 per token, for a total cost of approximately ¥10,084,663 (about $66,000), and plans to expand its holdings to ¥100 million (about $611,000) by August 31, 2026. Kensuke Amo, the executive director of Eole, stated that the reasons for choosing HYPE included its architecture as a core infrastructure for future business, as well as compliance requirements. Eole also plans to explore staking HYPE to generate income after the USDC revenue mechanism of Hyperliquid is activated.
