According to CoinMeta, New York Attorney General Letitia James ( Letitia James ) called on Congress to strengthen regulation of cryptocurrencies, as a FBI report indicated that losses related to cryptocurrencies exceeded $11 billion. In her testimony before the Senate, she pointed out that the pending CLARITY legislation would weaken state enforcement efforts against digital asset fraud. James warned that federal legislation could undermine the enforcement capabilities of the states.
