Russian government: Mining will be banned in Moscow and surrounding areas until 2032

According to CoinMeta, the Russian government has included Moscow and other regions in a ban through a decree for 2024, prohibiting cryptocurrency mining activities. The ban will take effect on August 15, 2026, and will last until December 31, 2032. This amendment also covers some territories of the Moscow region and the Kursk region.
