According to CoinMeta, as reported by Yahoo Finance, the S&P 500 fund managed by Vanguard is expected to return to a assets of $1 trillion by the end of this year. The fund first surpassed $1 trillion earlier this year, but then the market experienced a pullback. Currently, its assets are around $979 billion, with only about $21 billion short of $1 trillion. Analysts point out that the fund attracted approximately $69 billion in new funds during the first five months and expect its assets to return to $1 trillion by the end of the year, assuming the market remains stable.
