According to CoinMeta, Jeff Bezos invested $2.6 billion in the AI startup Cuspai through Bezos Expeditions. This company collaborates with Nvidia and Meta to address material shortages in chip production. Cuspai recently completed a $450 million Series B financing round, raising its valuation to $2.6 billion, which is approximately five times higher than the $520 million valuation in September last year. Founded in 2024, the company uses a platform called Mira to test candidate materials in order to accelerate material research and development. Bezos' investment will drive the development of AI chip materials, and the collaboration between Nvidia and Meta will also speed up the testing and verification of new materials.
