Swiss cryptocurrency usage rate reaches 23%, far exceeding that of Germany and Austria

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by bitcoin.com, a survey by Berenberg Consulting shows that the usage rate of cryptocurrencies among Swiss adults is 23%, which is higher than 11% in Germany and 18% in Austria. Switzerland's "Distributed Ledger Technology Act," which came into effect in 2021, provides a legal framework for crypto assets, facilitating the development of the crypto valley ecosystem, which comprises 1,749 blockchain companies. 37% of Swiss respondents consider cryptocurrencies to be assets worth investing in, and 45% support their use as international reserve currencies, both figures leading those of Germany and Austria.
