Lopp advises users not to rely on a single piece of hardware or software, and suggests that AI code review can help identify potential vulnerabilities faster than security researchers can. Coinkite CEO has acknowledged this firmware vulnerability, calling it a "realistic warning of a new paradigm in AI."
