According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cryptoslate, the migration of institutional clients from Coinbase International Exchange to Deribit is scheduled for September 9th. On that day, accounts, balances, and open positions will be transferred, and unexecuted orders will be cancelled. After the positions are settled at market prices, they will be re-established in Deribit. Clients who do not wish to migrate must close their positions and deactivate their accounts by August 28th; otherwise, it will be deemed that they accept the migration. There is an expected 30-minute downtime on the day of the migration. Existing API keys will not be usable in Deribit, so clients need to update their endpoints and credentials. Historical data can be preserved in the old API for about 12 months but will not be migrated to Deribit.
