According to CoinMeta, Wu said that the 10-Q filings submitted by Bitcoin mining companies and energy infrastructure company Hut to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) show that in the second quarter of 2026, revenue amounted to 74.93 million US dollars, compared to 41.3 million US dollars in the same period of the previous year, representing an increase of 82%. Among this, computing business revenue increased to 72.5 million US dollars, mainly due to a rise in Bitcoin production from 308 to 935 coins. The company incurred a quarterly net loss of 177 million US dollars, while in the same period of the previous year, it had a net profit of 137 million US dollars, primarily affected by a loss of 138.6 million US dollars in the fair value of digital assets. As of June 30th, Hut held a total of 17,316 BTC coins, valued at approximately 1.04 billion US dollars at the end-of-period price. Of these, Hut held about 9,314 coins, its controlling subsidiary American Bitcoin held about 8,002 coins, and another 3,090 coins were pledged to mining machine manufacturer Bitmain.
