According to CoinMeta, Bank of New York Mellon announced a collaboration with Galaxy Digital to add a cryptocurrency collateralization feature to its digital asset custody platform, and selected Galaxy Digital to provide the infrastructure support for collateralization. Once regulatory approval is obtained, the new service will allow institutional clients to collateralize digital assets through Bank of New York Mellon's custody platform.
