According to CoinMeta, Franklin Templeton ( Franklin Templeton ), one of the world's largest asset management companies managing over $1.5 trillion in assets, has joined the Canton network as a super validator. This move comes after the company expanded its Benji technology platform to the Canton network at the end of 2025, further focusing on tokenized financial products. The Canton network is a privacy-focused Layer-1 blockchain designed for financial institutions that handle tokenized assets. As a super validator, Franklin Templeton will help ensure network security, verify transactions, and participate in governance. The infrastructure team that the company has joined includes major organizations such as Visa, Chainlink, DTCC, NASDAQ, and Blockdaemon. According to the latest Canton network report, the ecosystem is gradually improving, with approximately 650 million CC tokens being minted each month, and about 500 million tokens being burned, narrowing the gap between issuance and burning.
