According to CoinMeta, Samsung has announced that it will support stablecoins on its 800 million phones, although the specific issuers, blockchain, and hosting models have not yet been disclosed. Samsung's investment of $408 million in Dunamu and the pending South Korean digital assets bill reveal its infrastructure layout. Samsung has spent seven years building an encryption footprint in Galaxy phones, and the blockchain key vault launched in 2019 provides secure storage for private keys with hardware isolation. In 2025, cooperation with Coinbase will enable American Galaxy users to directly purchase crypto assets through Samsung Pay. Samsung stated in Galaxy 2026 that it will embrace "new types of digital value, including stablecoins," and described the Samsung wallet as "the foundation of an interconnected financial ecosystem across Galaxy devices and services."
