According to CoinMeta, Sun Zheyuan, a young man born after 1995, generated a large number of fake articles using AI to manipulate soda ash futures and made a profit of 85,000 yuan. As a result, he was fined 485,000 yuan by the Sichuan Securities Regulatory Bureau. The 17 fake articles published by Sun Zheyuan claimed that a soda ash company's boiler had malfunctioned, causing its production line to shut down for half a year, and that an earthquake in Alxa had damaged the factory. Regulatory authorities determined that his intent was clearly malicious, and he failed to prove that any mental illness affected his judgment.
