According to CoinMeta, the laboratory of the former OpenAI chief scientist Ilya Sutskever ( Safe Superintelligence ) is secretly developing a AI model, with a release planned for August. This model is designed to allow AI to continue learning after deployment, rather than stopping its progress once training is completed. Ilya stated that the biggest flaw of existing models is their much weaker generalization ability compared to humans; his ideal AI would be like a “superintelligent 15-year-old” capable of quickly adapting to any industry. SSI recently reached a long-term cooperation with NVIDIA, with plans to expand computing power by about 10 times, and NVIDIA also invested $5 billion in SSI.
