The network processed over 1.01 billion non-voting transactions in the week ending August 2nd. This figure marks the highest level of activity in Solana's history, highlighting its growing role in the crypto industry. In 2025, transaction volumes continued to rise, often exceeding 800 million per week, and eventually surpassed 1 billion. Unlike previous surges driven mainly by memecoin speculation, the current growth seems more sustained, reflecting activities in decentralized finance, stablecoin transfers, token issuance, and an increasingly diverse ecosystem of consumer applications. Despite the network activity reaching new highs, the price of SOL is still trading around $74, far below its main moving averages.
