According to CoinMeta, World Chain has announced that it will become the first production-grade second-layer blockchain to deploy streaming block access lists for EIP-7928. The feature is scheduled to go live on its mainnet on August 17th, with the aim of increasing transaction throughput without raising hardware requirements for validators. The network states that it will stream complete block access lists within each Flashblock, allowing validators to start verifying transactions while the blocks are still being assembled. This implementation is designed to address one of the key scalability challenges in the blockchain industry: enhancing transaction capacity without compromising on decentralization. According to the company, this launch marks the first production implementation of streaming block access lists for EIP-7928 and contributes to Ethereum’s broader scalability roadmap. The network has also integrated human-proofing technology from World ID and can be accessed through compatible wallets, including World App.
