According to CoinMeta, Google announced that the founder of DeepMind and also CEO Demis Hassabis will step down from CEO, to take on the role of Chairman of Google DeepMind. He will also become the Chief Scientist at Google's parent company, Alphabet, continuing to oversee the long-term research directions of AI. At the same time, he will still lead the new drug development company, Isomorphic Labs. This adjustment does not mean leaving Google; rather, he is handing over daily management to a new team to focus on strategic and scientific research work at the group level, which is related to AI.
