According to CoinMeta, the official blog of the Lightning Network wallet ZEUS reported that its infrastructure encountered a cybersecurity incident, resulting in a temporary suspension of services. The attack has been controlled, and the team is conducting a system audit. User funds have not been lost and are not at risk. Customers whose LSP channels were closed will be provided with alternative channels once services are restored. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident was limited to the ZEUS infrastructure, and no vulnerabilities in the Lightning Network node software were found. The team is using a trusted execution environment and the Validating Lightning Signer project to reinforce the infrastructure.
