Bitcoin Red Team Completes Audit of Open Source Code Library, Identifies 85 Serious Vulnerabilities

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Bitcoin Magazine, a team led by Calle and Rob Hamilton from Bitcoin Red Team invested over $40,000 in AI tokens to conduct security audits on more than 390 open-source code repositories. The team submitted 4,962 findings within 27.5 hours, including 85 severe issues and 635 high-risk issues, averaging 2.31 severe or high-risk issues per hour. The audit utilized models such as Kimi K3, GPT SOL, Fable, Opus, and GLM5.2, with the costs borne by OpenSats. The team has also established cooperative relationships with OpenAI and Anthropic.
