Tencent opens-source Agent memory system, OpenClaw can save up to 61% Token

According to CoinMeta, Tencent Cloud's database team has officially open-sourced TencentDB Agent Memory. This is a local-first memory engine designed for AI, which by default uses a combination of SQLite and sqlite-vec as the local backend. It can be installed as a plugin for OpenClaw and also supports integration with Hermes Gateway. The system divides memory into long-term memory and short-term task memory; long-term memory is organized by original conversations, atomic facts, scenarios, and user profiles, while lengthy tool logs are stored separately in the short-term task memory. The new version includes features for team sharing and fine-grained permission control, allowing different Agent users to access organized conversations, documents, code, and work processes. The project is licensed under MIT and currently supports OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, and CodeBuddy.
