According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, the Philippine economy unexpectedly slowed down to 2.3% in the second quarter, failing to recover as expected. A slowdown in consumer spending and reduced investment were the main reasons for this. As a result, both the Philippine peso and the stock market declined.
