According to CoinMeta, as disclosed by the Central Bank of Brazil, the transaction volume of crypto assets in Brazil reached $14.68 billion in the first half of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 135%. In June alone, the transaction volume amounted to $2.54 billion. The report indicates that stablecoins are the main driving force behind this growth in demand. In addition to speculative trading, stablecoins are being used for payments, value transfer, and liquidity reserves.
