According to CoinMeta, the South Korean National Police Agency selected Upbit's parent company, Dunamu, through a public bidding process to be responsible for the custody of the seized virtual assets, with a contract period of one year. The confiscated digital assets will be managed through the digital asset custody service Upbit Custody, which will provide real-time monitoring and management of the regulatory infrastructure over 365 days. This service utilizes 100% offline cold wallets, 24/7 surveillance, and incorporates MPC and DKG multi-key management and multi-signature technologies to ensure asset isolation and security.
