According to CoinMeta, Chifeng Gold announced that its holding subsidiary, Vientiane Mining, has signed an overseas daily operation contract with China Railway 19th Bureau Group Laos wholly-owned limited company. The contract value is 220 million US dollars (approximately 1,501,163,333 RMB), and it is valid from the date of contract entry into force until March 31, 2032. The contractor will ensure that the Sipan gold-copper mine reaches its designed production capacity of 1.3 million tons per year on time and will advance the Kanon project to begin the extraction of raw ore in the second quarter of 2027.
