FSB of the Russian Federation detains 20 employees of cryptocurrency exchange points

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by the Russian Satellite News Agency, the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) has detained over 20 employees from cryptocurrency exchange points in Moscow and shut down 9 channels suspected of using cryptocurrencies to transfer fraudulent funds overseas. It is mentioned that the daily transaction volume at these illegal exchange points reached up to approximately 2 million US dollars, and law enforcement authorities also detained several individuals aged between 18 and 25 who were involved in transferring funds. The case has now been filed for investigation as a fraud involving particularly large amounts of money.
