Bitcoin hovering below $68,000 as tensions in the Middle East intensify

According to CoinMeta, the current price of Bitcoin is hovering below $68,000, and on Friday it approached $64,700, with almost no change in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the price of Brent crude oil has exceeded $83 per barrel. Previously, Houthi militants related to Yemen and Iran attacked Saudi Arabia, further exacerbating tensions in the Middle East. The yield on U.S. Treasury bonds has slightly corrected, but the yield on 10-year Treasury bonds remains at 4.67%. If high oil prices persist, they may increase inflationary pressures, while high Treasury bond yields have tightened the financial environment, which could limit expectations of interest rate cuts in the near term and put pressure on Bitcoin and other risky assets. The price of gold has continued to recover, with an increase of 1.5%, currently at $4,300 per ounce, as investors turn to safe assets in the face of uncertainty.
