Lee Anderson calls for an investigation into Wes Streeting, as the political donations it receives are suspected to be associated with SBF.

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cointelegraph, Reform UK Chairman Lee Anderson has called for the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner to investigate Defence Secretary Wes Streeting for accepting a donation of $50,000 from the think tank Labour for the Long Term between 2022 and 2023. The founder of this think tank has previously received a grant of $675,000 from Bankman-Fried. British law allows unincorporated associations to donate directly to politicians in amounts exceeding $675, and this regulatory loophole is alleged to potentially be used as a channel for foreign or covert funds. Wes Streeting claims that they requested a list of donors before accepting the donation and did not find the name Bankman-Fried; the individual in question has stated that they have never had any contact with FTX, who is currently serving a 25-year prison sentence, prior to CEO.
