According to CoinMeta, Trump Media ( DJT ) announced the cancellation of its cooperation with Crypto.com, citing poor market conditions, which led to a 5% decline in the price of CRO tokens. Trump Media, together with Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition, terminated the strategic plan for Trump Media Group's CRO, due to "current market conditions and changes in business and stakeholder priorities." The plan was originally aimed at creating a listed company focused on accumulating CRO tokens. In September 2025, Trump Media purchased $105 million worth of CRO as part of a broader collaboration with Crypto.com. Trump Media also planned to directly integrate the predicted market of Crypto.com into Truth Social, but has now scaled back on that plan.
