According to CoinMeta, Vice President JD Vance stated on August 5th that since the establishment of the fraud task force by the Trump administration, $230 billion in fraudulent activities have been identified, and $56 billion in fraudulent payments have been prevented. He discussed the measures taken by the task force at a roundtable meeting held in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, which was attended by more than a dozen Republican legislators. Vance called on Congress to legalize certain anti-fraud measures to ensure their continued effectiveness in future administrations. He pointed out that the first step Congress could take is to mandate data sharing between state and federal governments in order to combat fraud.
