According to CoinMeta, the Central Bank of Brazil will implement new anti-fraud regulations for crypto assets starting next year: transactions transferring more than $10,000 to overseas virtual asset service providers or self-hosted wallets can be delayed for up to 24 hours. The threshold can be calculated based on either a single transaction or the total amount transferred by a customer in a single day. Other transactions that require further review according to risk management policies may also be delayed. The Central Bank of Brazil stated that these measures do not constitute asset freezes and will not permanently prevent transfers.
