According to CoinMeta, Nokia (NYSE : NOK) has redefined its business narrative around artificial intelligence over the past year and on July 14th, signed a 5G expansion agreement with Taiwan Mobile. Under this agreement, Nokia plans to deploy its AirScale product portfolio and AI driver software within the operator's network. This agreement complements a series of internal share purchases and a deepened collaboration with NVIDIA, indicating Nokia's desire to take a leading position in the upcoming surge in AI traffic. The agreement focuses on four different AI applications, aiming to achieve real-time network assurance and automated operations. Nokia's AI network software includes predictive hardware analysis services and self-organizing network tools that can enhance network capacity and upstream performance to handle AI-driven traffic. Nokia also plans to achieve full 6G connectivity by 2030, with the 6G device market expected to exceed $50 billion in the early 2030s.
