According to CoinMeta, and as monitored by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, a large whale investor participated in the early issuance of Ethereum in 2015 at a price of $0.311 per coin, acquiring 2,000 ETH. At that time, their value was only $622. After about 11 years of inactivity, this account reappeared on the blockchain and approximately 40 minutes ago, it tested transferring 0.1 ETH to Coinbase. Calculated at current prices, the value of these ETH has increased by about 6,150 times from their initial cost. It is still not confirmed whether they intend to sell them at this point.
