Bank of America predicts Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will return 50% free cash flow to shareholders

According to CoinMeta, an analyst from Bank of America named Jukan predicts that both Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix plan to use 50% of their free cash flow for shareholder returns. Samsung Electronics is expected to distribute a special dividend of 30 trillion Korean won in the third or fourth quarter, repurchase 40 trillion Korean won worth of shares in the first half of 2027, pay an annual dividend of 30 trillion Korean won in April 2027, and additionally repurchase 30 trillion Korean won worth of shares for employee compensation. SK Hynix is expected to repurchase 40 trillion Korean won worth of shares and distribute a cash dividend of 20 trillion Korean won.
