The prosecution alleges that the victims are the parents of someone who was involved in stealing the $100 million in Bitcoin. The three men had visited the location, rented a car, and prepared air guns and walkie-talkies, but abandoned their plan due to concerns about being detected. Subsequently, another group from Florida carried out a similar scheme, which resulted in a carjacking and kidnapping incident.
